The Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives presents the history of the Sunshine Coast and its inhabitants.  We have two floors of exhibits to explore as well as a resource room, reference library, and extensive archives with over 9,000 photographs & documents.

The Museum is situated in the heart of Gibsons Landing, 10 minutes from the BC Ferries terminal in Langdale.

We are wheelchair accessible & accommodate group tours by appointment.

 Volunteer Needed for Collections Management Project

We are looking for a volunteer who can help with the on-going inventory of the Museum artifacts. This person would be available to work with staff on Tuesdays, from 11 am to 2 pm. The job entails some light lifting and moving, documenting and filling in of forms, and assisting in photo shoots. Please contact Kimiko at the Museum if you are interested.
